PHYT 7230 Clinical Diagnosis & Management VIII: Multiple Systems
This course deals with multiple system conditions from the perspective of pathological, medical, and surgical considerations and physical therapy interventions. Emphasis is on prevention, evaluation, and treatment of infectious disorders, oncology, endocrine/metabolic disorders, and rheumatic disorders affecting multiple systems of the body. Patient problems will be provided that affect a patient's sleep, fatigue, activity, pelvic floor (GI-GU systems), and psyche impacting professional decision-making related to patients across the life-span.
