PHYT 7102 Professional Development
This course will include opportunities for each student to become involved in extracurricular activities that will broaden their knowledge-base while serving others. Knowledge, skills, and behaviors utilized in physical therapy involve the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains of learning. This course provides students with an opportunity to integrate these domains while participating in community/service activities that enable them to develop as healthcare professionals and citizens. Thoughtful reflection on these activities will assist students as they internalize the values articulated by the program and the physical therapy profession. Emphasis will be placed on professional behaviors and core values for the profession of physical therapy.
