PHYT 7222 Introduction to Clinical Diagnosis and Management II
This clinical science course will introduce and review selected evaluative procedures for sensation and pain. Therapeutic application of biophysical/physical agents (thermal, mechanical, and electrical modalities) and soft tissue mobilization techniques (massage) will be presented, and students will have the opportunity to integrate skills related to verbal communication, patient education, clinical documentation, and interpretation of scientific evidence, indications, contraindications/precautions, and dosage parameters.
