SURG 2401 Surgical Pathophysiology and Pharmacology

This didactic course examines common surgical pathophysiology and pharmacologic agents encountered in the perioperative setting. Topics include disease processes, surgical interventions, anesthesia concepts, medication classifications, dosage calculations, and medication safety. Emphasis is placed on clinical decision-making and application of scientific principles relevant to surgical patient care.
