SURG 2211 Capstone Practicum
This capstone clinical practicum provides a summative patient-contact experience in surgical technology. Students demonstrate entry-level competency by functioning in the surgical technologist role under supervision, participating in a broad range of surgical cases. Emphasis is placed on professional readiness, clinical judgment, and completion of required clinical hours and case documentation.
Prerequisite
These courses are required as it provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to build upon in subsequent nursing coursework and clinical experiences.

This didactic course supports the associated clinical course by delivering the theoretical and instructional content required for clinical application
