NUR 4407 Transition to Professional Nursing Practice Clinical
This clinical course facilitates the transition of the nursing student to the role of a professional nurse, applying the knowledge, traits, competencies, and skills of the profession to the practice setting.
The clinical component consists of direct patient care under the supervision of a preceptor in patient care settings for various patient populations. Clinical contact hours total 180 hours.
Prerequisite
This course is required as it provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to build upon in subsequent nursing coursework and clinical experiences.
Corequisite
This didactic course supports the associated clinical course by delivering the theoretical and instructional content required for clinical application.
