NUR 4111 Maternal-Newborn Nursing Care Clinical
The clinical component consists of direct patient care under the supervision of a clinical instructor in patient care settings for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, and children from birth to adolescence. Clinical contact hours total 68 hours
Prerequisite
These courses are required as it provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to build upon in subsequent nursing coursework and clinical experiences.
Corequisite
This clinical course must be taken concurrently with the associated didactic course to support the immediate application of theory, skills, and clinical reasoning in the supervised practice environment.
