NUR 4201 Maternal-Newborn Nursing Care
This course focuses on developing the knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe and effective family-centered nursing care for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, as well as for newborns.
Prerequisite
These courses are required as it provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to build upon in subsequent nursing coursework and clinical experiences.
Corequisite
This clinical course must be taken concurrently with the associated didactic course to support the immediate application of theory, skills, and clinical reasoning in the supervised practice environment.
