HIST 4310 The United States Since 1945

Intensive study of the political, economic, and social forces that shaped the U.S. from World War II to the present. Special emphasis will be placed on domestic and foreign policy. Particular emphasis will be given the concept of limited war, Korea, and Vietnam. Consequences of the Civil Rights Movement, The New Frontier, The Great Society, and other political and economic movements from Nixon to present.
