HIST 4303 Colonial and Revolutionary America, 1492-1789

A study of the political, economic, and cultural foundations of the American colonies, the course of colonial development and regional differentiation, and the birth of independence. The issues leading to colonial revolution and the attempts to create a constitutional republic will receive special attention.
