BIOL 3140 General Entomology Laboratory

Laboratory course providing an introduction to the study of insects emphasizing morphology, physiology, ecology, and behavior. A treatment of medical, veterinary, and agricultural pests is also presented. The beneficial role of insects in the environment is addressed. This lab is designed to parallel the information presented in BIOL 4340. Concurrent enrollment or previous completion of BIOL 4340 required. Prerequisite: 8 hours of biology.
