Fourteen hours per week for fifteen weeks of practicum instruction supervised by a professional social worker in a local agency, providing the student an opportunity to implement knowledge learned in previous courses. Emphasis is on developing skills in human service, as well as learning structure, function, and policies of social work agencies. Students will also spend 1 1/2hours each week in an on-campus seminar to further integrate class and practicum learning.
