SCWK 4110 Senior Research Seminar I

A course for seniors to demonstrate mastery of the professional social work foundation and prepare them to evaluate their own practice through a major integrative assignment. This course requires the student to select a suitable research topic relevant to their field placement agency and complete a literature review. The student will submit a research proposal to the University Internal Review Board for approval as appropriate and continue the research design and implementation in the Spring semester.

SCWK 4550A Field Seminar I - students must be enrolled in both courses concurrently as the research conducted in the SCWK 4110 course is based on the field placement internship for which the student is assigned.
