MATH 0300 Intermediate Algebra

Review of such topics in elementary algebra as operations with signed numbers, fractions, factoring special products, exponents and radicals, linear and quadratic equations. This course is designed for students who have a weak background in mathematics and for students planning to take MATH 1305 Finite Mathematics for Business or MATH 1310 College Algebra, but who do
not have the required ACT mathematics score of 18 or above, or SAT mathematics score of 510 or above, or do not score above 45 on the ALEKS-PPL Mathematics Placement Exam. MATH 0300 does not fulfill the University core requirement in mathematics nor count toward a degree. A student must earn a grade of "C" or higher to continue to MATH 1305 or MATH 1310.
