KINE 4313 Strength and Conditioning Internship II

The course is designed to provide the second field experience for the Exercise Sceince major with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. The course provides opportunity for the student to demonstrate application of areas of instruction in the major and concentration. The student is required to work 150 hour minimum under the leadership and supervision of a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Professional who holds a current Strength and Conditioning Specialist, CSCS, certification. The field experience must be performed at an approved site by the Exercise Science , Strength and Conditioning Field Placement Coordinator and Program Director.

Prerequisite

Student must be Senior academic classification (90 hrs credits) required, and complete application process for approval by deadline in each Fall and Spring semester prior to the intended terms of the internshiip. Prerequisites: KINE 2001, 3001, 2306, 2307, 3360, and KINE 4312
