KINE 3330 Disabilities and Sport Accessibility

Course aims to teach future Fitness, Recreation and Sport professionals how to combine people with various temporary and permanent disabilities into equal participation with people without disabilities in sport, recreation, health/fitness/clinical settings. Categories of disabilities studied include but are not limited to: physical, cognitive, social, behavioral, sensory and emotional. Knowledge related to disability categories and their effects on motor development and performance are included.
