CHEM 1406 Introductory Chemistry (Allied Health Emphasis)

An introduction to the principles of inorganic, organic and biochemistry. Solution chemistry, gas laws, acids and bases, organic reactions and mechanisms, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, enzymes, and metabolism will be among the topics covered. This course may not be used to satisfy the major/minor requirements of science majors or minors.
