ART 4389 Internship

Application of skills and theory in on-the-job situations at a business or organization selected in cooperation with an Art instructor. The intern will be assigned an on-site supervisor in the student's area of interest and may include the following: the design fields (graphic design, industrial design, or interaction design), digital media, (photography, film and video production, animation, or illustration), fine arts (museum/gallery curation/exhibition assistantship). The art internship is available for all Art majors. Internships must be secured prior to registration and approved by a full-time Art faculty member who will serve as a faculty supervisor for the student's internship experience. A minimum of 100 on-the-job hours is required.
