POLS 4313 Forensic Evidence and Expert Testimony

An introduction into how the United States legal system deals with the multitude of issues concerning scientific evidence. Specifically, this course concentrates on the legal issues regarding scientific interpretations and analyses of physical evidence. Students will study such issues as the development of expert testimony, forensic science, admissibility standards, and common ethical issues related to forensic evidence.
