GEOL 3301 Oceanography

An introduction to oceanography. This course emphasizes the application of geologic principles to the study of the marine environment. This course also covers atmospheric phenomena that occur at or near the surface of the earth, including weather and climate, that are impacted by the oceans of the earth. May not be used to fulfill major or minor requirements in Geology.
