BIOL 4455 Adaptation and Phylogeny

A broad introduction to the fundamental concepts of evolutionary biology including: the history and development of modern biological thought and theories, synthetic theory, and natural selection. This course will also introduce the application of biological theories, primarily through the study of genetic characteristics of populations and inference of phylogenic relationships among biological taxa using various types of comparative data.
