PHYT 7204 Applied Physiology II

This is the second course in a two-part series and involves the study of the intact organism with emphasis on the processes that control and regulate important properties of living systems. Homeostasis of organ systems, as well as perturbations of homeostasis, particularly the acute and chronic effects of exercise will be examined. Topics include the cardiovascular systems, respiratory system, renal system, thermoregulation, gastrointestinal, and reproductive systems will be studied.
