CRIJ 6376 Management of Conflict Resolution

The nature and theoretical causes of interpersonal conflict within organizations will be explored. Interpersonal conflict resolution skills and abilities will also be critically examined in order to determine best practices within criminal justice organizations. Emphasis will be placed on understanding relevant contextual variables of interpersonal conflict within organizations and how such variables will impact best practice resolution strategies. The contemporary impact of social media platforms and other forms of electronic communication on interpersonal conflict within organizations will also be explored.
