CRIJ 6305 Forensic Pathology and Anthropology

This course will be a focus upon both the medico-legal investigation of unnatural deaths using soft tissue remains of a body as well as the anthropologic examination of human skeletal remains. Students will examine types of bones, the degree and nature of trauma to skeletal remains, and the various stages of human decomposition. Students will learn the processes to examine remains for the purposes of determining both cause and time of death.
