INSY 1303 Intro to Computer Applications

An introduction to information technology, information systems, artificial intelligence, and the role of information within society. The course provides an overview of each major area of information technology (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation, internet research, and artificial intelligence); integrates the areas, enabling students to use the technology to produce desired outputs for research, education, business, and cultural purposes: and uses spreadsheet and database programs for problem analysis. Work in the Computer Lab is required.
