The Senior Project course is the second part of a final sequence of professional preparation courses for art majors. This course operates as a faculty-directed studio independent study where students execute the production plan and critical research initiated during the prerequisite Professional Practices course. Students will finalize the major body of work pertinent to their specific concentration or creative career goals, preparing it for exhibition. The curriculum emphasizes focused, self-managed production, advanced problem-solving, and the refinement of the accompanying thesis research and artist statement. The course culminates in formal critiques and a presentation of the completed capstone project, serving as the immediate preparation for the final Senior Exhibition.
