ISCI 6320 AI for Business Analytics

AI for Business Analytics provides an applied introduction to data-driven decision-making using advanced analytical methods enhanced by artificial intelligence tools. Students learn forecasting, simulation, decision analysis, multi-criteria decision-making, data mining, and data visualization while integrating AI to support modeling, interpretation, and managerial communication. The course emphasizes how AI can augment analytical accuracy, streamline data workflows, and improve the clarity of management reports. Behavioral decision-making concepts—including confirmation bias, anchoring, framing effects, loss aversion, and availability bias—are incorporated to help students understand and mitigate judgment errors in business contexts. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply analytical techniques, use AI responsibly to enhance analysis, and communicate insights effectively to managerial audiences.
