MATH 2305 Mathematics Education

Elementary concepts of numeration systems, number theory, and properties of the natural numbers, integers, rational and real number systems, and applications of the algebraic properties of real numbers to concepts of measurement with an emphasis on problem solving and critical thinking. To be taken only by students pursuing 4-8 Mathematics or EC-6 certification. Students must have a scientific or graphing calculator.
