ECON 2350 Sports Economics

This class covers applications of economic thought in sports. Sports gives us many opportunities to study markets and other economic phenomenon. The course will cover monopoly and antitrust cases, competitive balance, public finance, labor markets, discrimination, amateur and college sports, and applications of economic thought to strategic play in sports.
