CRIJ 3305 Report Writing, Research and Statistics

The focus of this course will be academic writing and understanding statistics, with an emphasis upon local, state, and federal levels of the justice system. The course will examine the history and limitations of research, as well as ethical implications of statistics-driven policies within the context of critical areas of the justice system to assist the goal of being informed consumers of research.
