KSPR 6350 Training for Fitness and Performance

A study of physical training methods, techniques, exercise prescription, and assessment for fitness and performance. Application to apparently healthy and special populations is emphasized. Special populations include individuals with physical or cognitive conditions and disorders, children, aging adults, tactical professions such as military, law enforcement, fire and rescue. The course content is associated with guidelines, knowledge, skills, and abilities related to leading professional certifications of the NSCA, ACSM, and NASM.
