CRIJ 6304 Forensic Analysis of Evidence I

Students will be introduced to various types of forensic pattern evidence such as shoeprints, tire impressions, fingerprints, and bloodstain patterns.  Throughout this course, proper collection techniques will be discussed as well as methods of evidence preservation.  The methods of analysis and interpretation of these types of pattern evidences will be presented.  Students will be required to critically analyze the the reliability and court admissibility of pattern evidence and pattern expert testimony.
