SCWK 3308 Research Methods in Social Sciences

Introduction to the methods of scientific inquiry and their relevance to the social sciences. Topics include research design, problem formulation, measurement, data analysis, ethics, and experimental and non-experimental techniques.  Research report writing will be emphasized as well as introductory data analysis including descriptive and inferential statistics. Prerequisite: PSYC 1301 or SCWK 1350. Session Cycle: Spring.
