MATH 300 Introductory Algebra
Review of such topics in elementary algebra as operations with signed numbers,fractions,factoring special products,exponents and radicals,linear and quadratic equations. This course is designed for students who have a weak background in mathematics and for students planning to take Math 1310, College Algebra,but who do not have the required ACT mathematics score of 18 or above; or SAT mathematics score of 480 or above. Math 0300 does not fulfill the University core requirement in mathematics nor count toward a degree.
