CSD 2303 Technology for the Speech Language Pathologist

This course is an overview of the technology and equipment commonly utilized within the field of speech language pathology.  This course not only focuses on the technology associated with the assessment and treatment of voice and swallowing, but also provides a review of commonly utilized augmentative-alternative communication equipment, apps, and computer programs.  Lastly, this course will discuss telemedicine and the technology that speech language pathologists’ interface when working with medically complex patients. 

 

This course is available to all CSD majors.

This course will count as student's technology requirement.

Student may choose between present CSD course for technology (CSCI 1303) and this course.
