KSPR 6325 Philosophy & Foundations of Coaching in Society
An in-depth study and analysis of the coaching profession, its influences on society, and how in turn, the profession has been influenced by society. Emphasis will include an understanding of the effects of coaching philosophies upon the levels of play as well as the types of sports. Additional foci will include motor movement skills and player-coach and colleague-coach relationships. Types of coaching opportunities (volunteer to professional) will be addressed.
