BIOL 2335 Computers in Science

A lecture and project-based course designed to introduce numercal methods, parametric statistics, data analysis, various scientific statistics software, and techniques used to portray data in the sciences will be explored in this course. Various public domain databases, and uses of this data, will be explored. Current topics will include biometry, bioinformatics, and Geographic Information Science (GIS). This course fulfills the university technology competency.
